Good Or Bad?

I've made a decision. One which at this moment I'm not sure it's good or bad.

Now that the reality is sinking in, I'm feeling a mixture of emotions.

I don't feel relieved, yet I don't regret making the decision either. I'm only feeling bad, to the person affected by my decision.

It took me alot of courage and 2 wake up calls to make this decision. Believe it or not, I got the 2nd wake up call from the movie 'Avatar'.

In the movie there was this scene where Jake Sully in his avatar body found freedom when he rides on his Ikran (dragon in english I think lol).

This scene caused me to be so emo, as it hit me that I yearned for the exact same freedom as well.

Another wake up call made me realized that I can be so much happier, to the extent that I don't even know exists. And all I have to do is just be me, something which I've not done for quite some time.

To you that was affected by my decision, I'm really really sorry. I know a thousand apologies won't make you feel less shocked or hurt. But I think for now, this would be a wise thing for us to do.

For now, only time will tell..

Anyway, I'm currently addicted to Lady GaGa's 'Bad Romance', especially the last few verse where she sang "I want your love and I want your revenge, I want your love and I don't wanna be friends" followed by some lyrics in French.

Emotions Running Wild

I was reading back the previous post, and I have to agree, I'm really really happy to be able to do that.

Emotions have been running wild lately, one moment I'm laughing, teasing my friends, having a blast, the next i'm frustrated, tired, crying.

I've cried alot lately, due to some issues, mostly work stuff.

But everything's good, I mean those sad moments come and go, so no point dwelling on it.

To quote a close pal of mine -"Enjoy the little things in life, don't worry too much". I really need to learn to enjoy all the small little things that makes me happy.

I thank you for listening to all my issues, for comforting me when I cry (I seriously do cry alot with you around lol), and for always being there. It means alot. Really.

It Feels Good

I forgot what it's like to laugh out loud and carefree; Or laugh like a little girl where it takes really little to make her happy.

I forgot what it's like to be able to talk in high pitches, animatic verbal expressions, the current teen language, and the best part is that the other person will actually respond back in the same way, rather than the usual serious and professional tone.

I forgot what it's like to be able to talk to some new acquantaince as if you knew them a decade already.

I forgot what it's like to be able to be just me, and nothing but the real me.

Gosh, there are so many things that i forgot, but I think I am revisiting these moments now.

It feels good, really good :)

I.NEED.A.BREAK!

Like a really really long break, and I know I've said this a thousand times. I'm taking a 1 week off during Xmas period, not enough but better than none.

Anyway, do you think having more than 10 items on your pending work list is alot?

Not really?

How about if the deadline for 5-6 items out of this list is tomorrow? Plus all the extra work you'll get tomorrow?

Now that's what I'm facing. From now onwards, I basically need to bring work home every single day.

This is something that I really don't want to do. I am never the kind of person who will work for money, or work so hard until I'd sacrifice sleep or eating time. I don't want to be that type of person either. That is SOOOOO not me.

I am stressed to the point where I dreamt of ghosts and bad guy last nite. I interpret those bad stuff as stress or pressure I'm facing >_<

And now I'm sleepy, but I have like 4 letters to finish, 1 budget to breakdown in details and tons of other stuff.

I don't care, I'm gonna go ZZzzzZZZ first.

Unbelievable

Yesterday, some work stuff caused me to be really frustrated and emo, again.

Then, this new friend of mine offered to be my listener and to give me some sound advices.

We talk about alot of things, many of which I avoided by trying to change the topic, but to no avail.

I tell you, he is someone who is very persistent, and he was so aggressive in all of his questions. He sort of threw me off guard and i felt really uncomfortable, as if I'm being stripped naked or something.

There was a point where I asked him whether I am impatient, and the following were his responses.

"You are patient....but only to certain people. You are very picky in terms of people, you choose who you want to be friendly or patient with. You are also a perfectionist, you want to do everything right. If you or anyone makes a mistake, eventhough it's a tiny one, you will feel annoyed and thus want to correct him/her."

You know, we have only gotten closer recently, maybe about 2-3 weeks ago. But he can already point out my character with such accuracy, I have to admit that I was, and still am, in awe.

"I can read you, you know, that is a gift." That's what he said.

On the way home, we talked about some really personal stuff, and at one point he basically laid out all the facts for me clearly, forcing me to face and admit the harsh reality that I've been running away from all this while.

Before I knew it, tears were forming in my eyes and I knew that I was about to cry. I tried to hold it in, I couldn't say anything as I'm afraid my tears will start flowing, so there were this moment of silence.

I felt really awkward, and in order to distract my thoughts, I blurted out "Hmm..this is awkward" as normal as I could. He asked me why was it weird, and somehow I admitted that I almost shed a tear.

He said he knew that I was about to cry, and he continued the conversation. But that was it, I couldn't hold it anymore, tears were flowing down my cheeks.

I turned to look outside the window, as I'm not used to being seen in such a weak state. He continued talking, comforting words I know and understand, but I wasn't exactly listening, so I could not remember clearly what he had said. All I know was his voice and tone were really soothing, and it caused me to sob even harder.

He is a guy with a really violent past and he has changed from a negative, bad-tempered person to this calm, collected, optimistic, content, helpful, wise, charming and renewed guy.

His past stories alone were astonishing enough, so imagine how unbelievable it was for me to hear those calming words coming from him, and ALL of it struck a chord.

"Remember, certain things you need to think and certain things you need to feel."

Those were his words, and I think it is something that I have to learn; when to think, feel and when not to over think.

"Learn to control your thoughts. Know when to stop when you feel that it's not worth thinking about."

I sincerely thank you for all these meaningful sentences and many other stories you have shared with me. You have no idea how much I'm touched by your gesture, and thank you for being able to accept the real me.
