Tired

I am feeling really tired.Exhausted.Pressured.Stressed. Kaput

Partly it's because I got home half an hour ago after an internal event at work.

The other reason is my job. I really think I'm suffocating over this job.

I have alot of pending articles, I have a press conference coming up next Tues and I still don't have the speech and news release for it yet. I don't even know whether any media will turn up, and my head is on the chopping board.

My hands are so full that I can't handle it. Ideally, I'll ve able to finish the pile of work I have. But I'm distracted by so so so so many things.

I am asked to attend to all these matters that doesn't even help me in writing the story. And every thing that needs to be written, whether it's a story, an official letter, some profiles, some advertisement copy, words to use for emails bla bla bla bla..I'm the person to look for.

And my new boss is not helping at all. All she know is give instructions(instead of guidelines), says that she don't want to know this and that and have bad mouth and attitude.

Besides, the politics at my workplace are complicated and far more dangerous than any virus or terrorist attack.

How la to finish all my pending stories and also to update the work blog twice a week?

When I tell others that I'm really stress at work, the politics is horrible, all they said was "Aiya, all company got politic wan la" or "All jobs are stressful wan la".

Like duh, not like I dunno. Hearing those lines just makes me feel as if I am so naive and stupid that I said it.

Sigh, I guess I jz want ppl to listen to me and agree with me, or at least pretend to agree with me. Or give me some other comforting words.

I am really risking my job by writing this post.

I think I really have to make my blog private to avoid any contacts at work stumbling across my blog and reading all this.

So maybe those of who read my blog should give me ur email add so you can still read my only-for-invited-readers-blog later on

Now I gotta go sleep, tomoro I'll have lots to do.

A Proper Update

I am on leave today, thus I have the time to do a proper blog update *weeeeeeee*

I'm gonna do an update according to the photos I have in my phone.


First off, me and the colleagues did a farewell for Juin, who's leaving the finance dept to further her study in ....... oh gosh, I forgot where..

We went to Simply Fusion @ Jaya One, then an unhappy incident happened that spoilt my appetite for the rest of the meal :(

(the rest of the gang, my manager is inside too :( )


On another fine day, I went to this brand and marketing talk organized by two mat sallehs, and they treated the attendees to Maredo's Steakhouse!


I've heard of this place before, but I've never dine in it, thus I'm super excited!

Then my excitement died as soon I flip to the "Steak & Co" page in the menu..

(expensive steak)

The cheapest steak here is RM89++???

Oh man, the steak there seriously and totally cost a bomb, totally not for the faint-hearted lo..


Proceeding to another day.

On this day, at about 12pm, while me and my colleagues were busy planning what pizza flavour to order, suddenly the fire alarm rang!

The funniest thing was everyone of us knew it was the fire drill, thus we were fakely shouting and screaming "fire, fire"', "run, run" etc while laughing at each other.


The fire assembly point was located jz right outside of our floor, so easy peasy for us to walk over and look at people from 2nd floors onwards walking out in groups.


There was this dispute over whether those who are using laptop have to carry it with them during emergency.

And ta-daa! One guy did so!! Btw, he's from the IT dept haha..

(He manage to grab his phone, his laptop, the mouse and the power cable as well as his laptop bag lol)


By now all of you should have seen the pictures in Facebook of all the super gorgeous cars I came across when I went for the JPM Berjaya Hills Time Challenge 2009.

(My new favourite! Jz because it's blue!)

Well, the whole time I was there it wasn't really that fun. Tiring, fed up and exhausted were probably the most suitable words to describe the whole trip.

That aside, I did have fun camwhoring hehe.

(It looks like I'm doin some cheerleading pose lo hehe)


Just a day after I came back from Bkt Tinggi, I was down with flu :(


And I had to wear a mask :(


But I'm almost healed now...

Updates

Ok, not necessary a complete and interesting update.


All I plan to do is just to write a few words as that is all that I can squeeze out.


Been really busy lately, have been working for two consecutive weekends already.


Thus the reason I'm falling sick now..

Having flu, cough, sore thoat and body ache..


Alot of work pending, and yet I'm procrastinating, I'm reluctant to do any work at all..


Now my nose is block.. Argh..

Work Sucks

Like, 10,000 times suckier than college life, than handling the other stuff that happens in daily life.


You know what's really annoying me now at the office?


There's two things basically, and both involved the people from the management level..


1st, I've got a super annoying, bloody talkative, and busybody manager, who irritates me to a level that I don't even know it exists.


As if this is not bad enough, I have to be involved in a process where I am the middle person, and I get screwed for other people's faults.

WTF la, if I'm supposed to proofread and spell check everything that reaches my hand, then I would be super busy already. No point hiring me as the PR already, a proofreader succint.


And this is coming from the top top person in the company. So stupid, she didn't even give me the reason to explain, becoz she totally ask another person to point out the so-called my mistakes.


Let me ask you, if the top top person in your company passes you a document asking you to adjust the alignment then print it, wouldn't you automatically assume that this document is spelling-and-grammar-error-free?

I assumed so, and I also assumed that this document was prepared by her.

Then I got screwed for not vetting through the document and apparently it's not done by her..

AARRRGGGHHHHH!!! I am so innocent!
