My Work

Just to share with you what I do for my job..

Click on the picture to see the clearer and bigger version, so that you can read the article.

This article is written by me, and was send to different media hoping that they would publish it without me paying any advertising dollar. This is call free publicity, and PR do this.

This article is not written by me, but by the reporter from The Star. My job for this is to organize the event, invited Alex Yoong, invite the media, and wait for their coverage. And this is the coverage.

I have to say that this is a well written piece, totally paint the picture for the career opportunities in motorsport industry.

This is only some of my work, I'm also managing the blog for TOC, therefore basically my writing is everywhere, just that I don't get to have my name on the byline, that's all.

But I feel really proud and I get job satisfaction whenever I see my work appearing in the papers, regardless the article is penned by me or otherwise. *beam*

Random Post Ep. 2

This is yet another random post, where I'm gonna post all events that happened during this week all together.

I think this is the first time after a long time that I get home early on a Saturday, and I'm enjoying every minute of the free time that I have now.

Random #1:

I started wearing contact lens since last week, not everyday, but when I need to or feel like wearing.

(this is how i look with contact lens)

Random #2:

Tell me what do you think caused this blue black on my middle finger.

I got it from Oscar, my husky.

(acting innocent)

Yeah I know, cannot be rite? But it's true. I slapped my hand against his back, he felt nothing, and I got this :(

Random #3:

This is me at the launch of Father's Day special program put together by TOC and JiaYu channel.

(the function)
(camwhoring at Circle's Restaurant & Pub, Sunway Pyramid)

(the whole setup)

Jiang Pei Pei was there, as she was the host in the program, and she's really tall and slim.

(the lady in the middle is her)

Random #4:

(Alert: handsome guy ahead)

Today was TOC's OTTO Camp a.k.a Open Day, and we have invited Alex Yoong to give a talk about the motorsport industry in Malaysia.

(Alex giving the talk)

The whole thing did not run as smoothly as I thought, but I felt relieved as I've managed to get the interviews done.

(media interviewing Alex)

As I was busy handling the media and visitors and Alex, I did not managed to capture that many pictures of him.

The boys wearing the same team shirt as Alex seated on the left side are TOC's students who are doing their internship at Alex's company. Such a good and lucky opportunity right?

And I've spotted another cute guy who speaks Brit English. If i'm not mistaken, he's Alex's business partner.

(see the guy with the cool pose? that's him!)

Stay Tuned!

As I've predicted, this week is really hectic for me.

I'm now juggling between working and having fun after work, thus the lack of update.

See the time that I blogged this? Yes, it's 6.29am, and I've just finished a translation for news release. And it's a SATURDAY, a working day for me :(

Sigh.. This really reminds me of the time I stayed up during uni life to finish my assignments or to study for exams.

Anyway, I have quite a few interesting things to post about for the next entry.

So stay tuned ya! I promise it will be soon!

A Genuine Plea For Charity

I am doing this not because my company is doing it. I sincerely feel for the cause, and it will really bring benefits to the home.

The other day, I had a chance to visit this noble home called Society for the Severely Mentally Handicapped (SSMH).

SSMH is a non-profit organization that provides rehabilitation facilities to children and youths with severe mental and physical disabilities.

Looking at some of these children, it's really heart-wrenching. Most of them look very normal, but they are either partially blind or wholly blind, could not speak, and some couldn't even move.

During the briefing on the daily operation of the centre, I was told that to maintain the centre and continuance of the programme cost about RM21,000 per month, and SSMH is run entirely based on the donations and funds given by the public.

So, to help them in raising funds, my company, as in TOC, has organized a charity car wash.

This car wash started since Monday (June 8) and it will take place until this Friday (June 12) from 9am to 5pm, at PJ 19 food court car park. TOC's students are the ones doing the washing, vacuuming and cleaning.

It only cost you RM10 to get your car washed and vacuumed. But the value of RM10 for SSMH is beyond monetary value, it means teaching and helping another severely mentally handicapped children.

So if you or someone you know live or work around ss2, section 19, section 14, section 17, please send your car for car wash and help support our charity drive.

This is a good deed, and what the centre and the helpers are doing and providing to these children and youth are doing it on a voluntarily basis.

So, please help spread the word around. You can help change these children and youths' future.

All Things Random

This entry is sort of updating for the sake of updating, as I don't have a main topic to talk about.

It is gonna be like picture stories. Different picture illustrate different story.

If I'm not mistaken, this is a race kart created by a student of ours. The instructor is doing some test run on it while driving around the college compound. Sorry for the not so clear and close up image though.
(P.S: sksk~the instructor is your cousin)

Now, this is a nicely arranged dining ware. It is so creative that it becomes a piece of fine art. So that's why I decided to give it a spot in this entry. Wakaka...

She is really the most adorable dog ever. This is how she attracts our attention. Looking at her like that you simply can't just ignore her and walk away. Confirm will go and sayang her wan hehe..

This is what I had when I went for my friends' birthday celebration in Uncle Chillis, PJ Hilton. It's called the Triple Decker Club sandwich (or something like that), and it is HUGE! It's a struggle to finish it alone.

This is the best cheesecake I've ever tasted so far. It's rich, but will not make you feel bloated after 1 or 2 forkful of it. You can basically eat the whole slice and still be able to move around without the vomit feeling.

Itu la saja, tuan-tuan dan puan puan. I'm signing off...
